Welcome to the new website!

Dear readers,

The past year has been a wild ride for Faith & Fellowship Magazine online. This will now be the third website platform within 8 months. The first platform was nice looking and gave us flexibility in the layout and design, but did not allow readers to search past articles. It required the reader to know which issue the article was in and to find that issue. Plus we were needing to find a way to archive any issues that were over a year old, while wondering how we would organize the website so it was easy to use.

The second platform was a Wordpress platform, which allowed readers to easily search articles. They could type in any word and find an article that included that specific word. Typical search method. But the layout was an issue and we had difficulty coming up with a nice online magazine look. Though it was easier to update, there were some other elements that made it slightly difficult and frustrating.

I started looking around for something that was specifically designed for monthly magazines in mind, but would also give us the flexibility to customize it according to our personal needs. That's when I came across Press Publisher. This had just been updated from an older version with all kinds of new features and seemed to fit exactly what I was looking for. Plus, it was free, until I feel the need to upgrade it in the future.

We are sure that we will be sticking with this for quite a while. It's exactly what I was looking for and more. We actually feel like a real online magazine, now! Thank you for your patience and I hope this works for you, as a reader, too.
