Sometimes we just need ideas. Perhaps in your congregation you have seen specific, unique acts of caring for the pastor and/or his family. Others could benefit by reading about it. Share your story by writing a paragraph and sending it to us. We will post them here online and some may appear in future print issues.

The Church of the Lutheran Brethren encourages congregations to grant their pastors a sabbatical after seven years of service. As one example, Rev. Aage Larsen, pastor of Oak Ridge Lutheran Brethren Church, is currently on a three month sabbatical.
